Photoshop Image Adjustment Layers and Selective Color

Continuing with Adjustment Layers, a Curves adjustment will be accustomed raise highlights while not really operating directly on the image. The trick is to note the highlights and increase them. Step one : Click the Curves once clicking the New Fill or Adjustment Layer button on all-time low of the Layers palette.

Step three : CTRL+CLICK on a highlight.

A dot seems on the diagonal in Curves.

Step four : CTRL+CLICK another highlight.

Another purpose forms on the diagonal.

Step five : CTRL+CLICK another highlight.

Step six : CTRL+CLICK another highlight.

Step seven : CTRL+CLICK another highlight.

Every time you CTRL+CLICK a highlight a black dot seems on the diagonal.

Step eight : SHIFT+CLICK the dots on the diagonal one by one. all of them flip Black. It suggests that all the dots are sorted along and may be stirred together.

Step nine : If you progress the dots upwards, all of them move along.

Step ten : ALT+CLICK on the attention icon to ascertain the before and once.

Look at the RGBColor Wheel. you'll calculate the alternative colours from it.

Step eleven : Click on Selective Color Adjustment Layer.

Working with the Reds pull the Cyan slider to -100.

The Reds increase.

Drag the slider to +100.

The image turns chromatic.

Reset the Cyan to zero. Drag the Magenta slider to -100.

Reset the Magenta slider. Drag the Yellow slider to -100.

The image acquires a Magenta tone

Drag the Yellow slider to +100.

The Yellows become additional pronounced.

Reset the Yellow to zero. Drag the Black slider to -100.

The colors become muted.

Drag the Black slider to +100.

The colors become richer.

After the Red all the colours -- Yellows, Greens, Cyans and Magentas don't work all.

Coming to the Whites, the Cyan slider doesn't impact any modification. Drag the Magenta slider to -100.

The highlights flip chromatic.

Drag the Magenta slider to +100.

The highlights flip Pink.

Drag the Yellow slider to -100.

The highlights flip Pink.

Drag the slider to +100.

The highlights flip yellow.

Click on Neutrals.

Dragging the sliders either manner has a similar impact because the Neutrals.

Click on the Blacks.

Drag the Cyan slider to -100.

The shadows flip Red. Dragging it to +100 decreases the impact.

Drag the Cyan slider to +100.

The Greens within the background increase slightly.

Drag the Magenta slider to -100.

The shadows flip inexperienced.

Drag the Magenta slider to +100.

The Magentas within the Background increase.

Drag the Magenta slider to +100.

The Blues within the Shadows increase.
